Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Gorge
Depart early to Ouarzazate through the High Atlas and the Tizi n’Tichka pass, traversing beautiful landscapes and Berber villages. Visit the renowned kasbah of Ait-Benhaddou, a UNESCO heritage site. Continue to Skoura, visiting the Ameridile kasbah, and journey on to Dades Gorges through the valley of roses and Kelaa Mgouna.
Day 2: Dade Gorges – Tinejdad – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, explore the palm grove of the Todra valley. Continue to Erfoud through Tinejdad and authentic villages. Visit the Marbles of Fossils in Erfoud before reaching the impressive dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Embark on an unforgettable camel trek into the heart of the dunes for an enchanting sunset. Day 3: Merzouga- Rissani – Alnif – Zagora – M’ Hamid
Watch the sunrise near your desert camp before departing to Rissani. Visit Moulay Ali Cherif mausoleum and Souk. Travel to Alnif for lunch and head to Zagora, Draa Valley & Tamgroute. Explore local handicraft workshops and a Koranic library. Reach M’hamid el Ghizlane, where the real desert landscapes begin. Dinner and night in a desert camp amid the dunes.
Day 4: Mhamid – The Sacred Oasis – Chegaga
Enjoy breakfast in a nomadic tent before heading to the famous dunes of Chegaga. Lunch amidst palm trees or tamarisks and a stop at the sacred oasis. Reach Erg Chegaga for sunset views from the highest dunes. Dinner and night in a bivouac.
Day 5: Chegaga- Foum Zguid – Ouarzazate
Explore the oasis of Fint, Lake Iriqui, and Foum Zguid. Travel to Taznakht, known for its Berber carpet cooperatives. Continue to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, embark on a city tour in Ouarzazate. Visit the kasbahs of Taourirte and Tamesla, and a film studio known for Hollywood movies. Return via the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Arrival in the evening and drop-off at your hotel.
